Darrell Wayne Waller, 47, died Sunday, June 5, 2016.

He was a native of Davie County, born on Jan. 11, 1969, and the son of Jerry Waller and Paulette Myers Chappell of Surf City. He attended the public schools of Davie County and became a welder in the construction industry.

A celebration of life service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 9,at Davie Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Chris Williams officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Also surviving: a son, Wyatt Waller of Mocksville; a daughter, Courtney Waller of Salisbury; 3 brothers, Tommy Waller (Lori) and Larry Chappell (Amanda) of Cooleemee, and Cary Chappell (Myra) of Sneeds Ferry; a grandson, Levi Jones; plus several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, Jeremy Wayne Waller.
