Connie Stoots Mann, 62, died at her home in Mocksville Sunday, May 1, 2016, following a period of declining health.

A native of Beckley, W.Va., she was born Nov. 29, 1953, the daughter of the late Gradin Stoots and the late Mae Keith Stoots. She was a homemaker.

Survivors: her husband of 46 years, James K. Mann of the home; 2 daughters, Lois Frazier and Judy Church (Robert) of Lexington; 2 brothers, Ronnie Stoots (Margaret) and Donald Stoots (Carrie) of Beckley; a sister, Patricia Coleman of Mount Hope, W.Va.; and 4 grandchildren, Rebecca Phillips, Brian Frazier, Robert Church II, and Kayla Church.

She was preceded in death by 7 brothers and a sister.

A celebration of life memorial service was conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 7 at the First Baptist Church of Mocksville officiated by the Rev. Shane Nixon. The family received friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Inurnment was in Salisbury National Cemetery.
