Evinda “Gwen” Durham Sheppard, 37, died at her home in Cooleemee under Hospice Care Saturday, April 23, 2016.

She was a Davie County native, born Nov. 27, 1978, and the daughter of Dennis Glen Durham of Cooleemee and Linda Faye Jacobs. She was a graduate of Davie County High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of Cooleemee Church of God.

Survivors: her dad, Dennis Glen Durham and wife Susie; her mother, Linda Faye Jacobs; her husband, Paul Russell Sheppard of Cooleemee; a son, Noah Rain Sheppard of Mocksville; 2 daughters, Alexis Breann Durham and Pandora Josephine May Sheppard, both of Mocksville; 3 step-children, Adem Kristofer Sheppard, Alexandra Kaine Sheppard and Andrew Kyle Sheppard, all of Mocksville; a sister, Holly Lynn Jacobs of Hickory; 2 grandchildren, Paul R. Sheppard and Andrew C. Sheppard; and a special friend, Matthew Walker.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Milinda Jacobs.

Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Davie Funeral Service.
