Allison Danielle Anderson, 21, formerly of Mocksville, died in an automobile accident in Davie County on Thursday, March 10, 2016.

She was born May 27, 1994, the daughter of Danny F. Anderson of Mocksville and Jeanne Lynne Cannady Anderson of Olivia. She was a former student at Davie County High School and graduated from Western Harnett High School in Lillington in 2012.She was a senior at Campbell University and was scheduled to graduate in May with a bachelor’s degree in biology. Her plans were to attend NC State University and become a veterinarian. She was employed as a veterinarian assistant at the Banfield Hospital (a division of PetSmart) in Sanford. She was funny, smart, loving and kind. She loved Batman and animals. She had a saltwater aquarium, two dogs, Barrett and Easton, and a cat, Bailey.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by: her maternal grandmother, Lucille Graham Cannady of Olivia; her maternal grandfather, Holt Cannady of Coats; her paternal grandmother, Shirley Anderson of Mocksville; a sister, Margaret L. Anderson of Mocksville; a niece and nephew, Madison E. Lewis and Bryson K. Lewis of Mocksville; plus several aunts, uncles and cousins and a multitude of friends.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, T.F. Anderson.

The first visitation was from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, March 13 at Davie Funeral Service Chapel in Mocksville. A service followed at 7 p.m. in the chapel with the Rev. Carroll Jordan officiating, assisted by the Rev. Tom Nesbitt.

A second visitation was held on Monday from 1-3 p.m. at Olivia Presbyterian Church in Olivia. The service followed at 3 officiated by Elder BeBe Briggs and assisted by the Rev. George Walton. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
