COOLEEMEE – If you’re starting to get a good case of spring fever, there’s no better way to take the seasonal plunge than to head to RiverPark.

On Saturday, March 12 join members of the Davie High football team and other volunteers for the annual RiverPark Workday at 8 a.m.

The United Way of Davie County will provide an eye-opener of hot coffee, juice and sausage biscuits at the Margaret Woodson picnic shelter at the end of Erwin Temple Church Road on the Rowan County side of the park.

Work teams will be assigned tasks and get work gloves and gear from there. Work will end by noon with a hot dog lunch.
