Davie High auto tech students Dylan Waller and Matthew Forrest placed first at UTI’s\Nascar Technical Institute’s Top Tech challenge on Saturday, Feb. 20.

They beat 30 teams from across the east coast and each won a $10,000 scholarship. They also won a new Snap-On tool box and $2,000 in Snap-On tools for their automotive class, taught by Seth James.

As individuals, Forrest placed second and Waller  placed ninth out of 60 contestants.
