Timothy Jeffrey Stanley, 26, of Mocksville, died on Feb. 14, 2016.

He was born on March 9, 1989. Mary Beth (Dancer) and Daniel Stanley became his parents on Jan. 11, 1991.He attended Davie County High School and Earl C. Clements Job Corp Academy. He worked as a welder and enjoyed traveling, working on motorcycles and fishing. He was strong, quick-witted with a keen sense of humor, and demonstrated a strong sense of justice and compassion. He lived life on his terms.

Survivors: his parents;  his brother, David Stanley and fiancé Jessica Sage, all of Winston-Salem; grandparents, Shermon and Amy Stanley of Stockbridge, Mich., Ray and Judy Dancer of Kalkaska, Mich., Thelma Joan Barsdale of Okemos, Mich. and Max Toney of Lewisville,; along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by grandmother, Polly Mitteer; grandfather, Paul Barsdale; and uncle, Daniel Dancer.
