Bobby Winston Whitehead

Mr. Bobby Winston Whitehead, 84, of Bermuda Run died Sunday, Jan. 24, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center.
He was born Feb. 27, 1931 in Raleigh to James and Bessie Whitehead. Mr. Whitehead was a longtime member of Calvary Moravian Church before joining Clemmons Moravian. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp and the owner of Orthopedic Services. Mr. Whitehead was a golfer who also enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Survivors: his wife, Nancy Ogburn Whitehead; 2 daughters, Pamela Love of Winston-Salem and Terry McInnis and husband Ronald of Lewisville; 3 grandchildren, Todd Love of Raleigh, Tim Love of Charlotte and Carly McInnis Lang and husband Michael of Huntersville; and his half sister, Virginia Watkins of Ewa Beach, Hawaii.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29 at Clemmons Moravian Church with the Rev. Ray Burke officiating. Burial will follow in the church graveyard. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
