NC State University recently awarded Karen Robertson its Pride of the Wolfpack Award.

Robertson is the administrative support specialist for the Davie County Center of NC State Extension. In February 2016, she will celebrate 25 years of service with Extension, all at the Davie County center.

The Pride of the Wolfpack Award process is competitive. Nominees are judged according to a long list of criteria including leadership on the job, quality of service to clients, delivery of service to staff, and relationships the nominees fostered at work.

Her excellence in her position was recognized by her County Extension Director and other staff members who recommended her for the award.

“Always smiling and helpful, Karen supports fellow staff members and the citizens of the community daily by providing the assistance they need,” said Colleen Church, Davie/Yadkin Extension director.

The Davie Extension Center is a partnership between Davie County, NC State University, and NC A&T University.
