Delois Ann Church Cranfield

Delois Ann Church Cranfield of Woodleaf died Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015 at Davie Place, Mocksville.

Born in High Point, she was the daughter of the late Tommy Church and Edith Boyd Church. Mrs. Cranfield was educated in the Rowan County schools. She was a Rowan County school bus driver and a rural route carrier for the Salisbury and Woodleaf post offices. She was a member of Community Baptist Church, Mocksville.

Mrs. Cranfield was preceded in death by: her husband, Sonny Eugene Cranfield on Jan. 13, 1979;  brothers, Palmer Church and Kelly Church; and a sister, Linda Church Willard.

Survivors: her daughter, Tammy Cranfield Smith (Larry) of Cooleemee; son, Scotty Eugene Cranfield (Tracy) of Blacksburg, Va.; brothers, Gary Church (Diane) of Salisbury, Roger Church of Salisbury, Billy Church of Cleveland, Danny Church of Salisbury, Ronnie Church of Cooleemee, the Rev. Jimmy Church (Patsy) of Mocksville, Junior Church of Holden Beach, David Church (Angie) of Yadkinville and Donald Church of Yadkinville; grandchildren, Jamie Smith and Jared Smith; and a cousin, Margie Church of Cleveland.

Her funeral service was conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23 at Summersett Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Church officiating. Burial followed at Rowan Memorial Park.
