On Nov. 12, Inez Howard and Laura Smith were honored with a luncheon at the home of Bobbie Shoaf in Woodland, Mocksville, for their 97th birthdays.

The are the oldest members of Cornatzer Baptist Church.

Refreshments were served by Ella Smith, Frances Barney and Bobbie Shoaf. The highlight was the opening of birthday gifts.
