A Mocksville man was arrested Nov. 6 for an Oct. 22 break-in at a local church.
Justin Tuggle, 34, of Deadmon Road, was charged with larceny after breaking and entering, and breaking and entering a place of worship.
Davie Sheriff’s Chief J.D. Hartman said that on Oct. 22, Nicholas Miller reported that his guitar had been stolen from the Dutchmans Creek Baptist Church fellowship hall.
Because he provided officers with the serial number of the guitar, they traced it to being sold at a pawn shop in Greensboro. Officers then contacted Tuggle, who admitted to entering the church and taking the instrument.
He was taken into custody in lieu of a $5,000 bond, pending a Nov. 19 appearance in Davie District Court.
