JROTC Raiders place sixth

On Saturday, Oct. 10, the Davie County High School’s JROTC Raider Team went to South Rowan High School to compete in a Raider competition against teams from North Carolina and Virginia.
The competition consisted of eight-person teams in five events: Physical Fitness Test, 3.1 mile run, Rope Bridge, Buddy Carry, and a Vehicle Pull.
They placed sixth out of the 15 teams. The Raider Team competes at these meets to help develop leadership, physical fitness, and teamwork.
