John Howard, Hannah Shuskey, and Michael Sparks have auditioned and been chosen to participate in the North Carolina High School Honors Chorus.

This is the highest choral honor in the state.

They were among 1,200 who auditioned. On Nov. 7 they will rehearse with the other 176 students chosen and present a concert as part of the NC Music Educators Conference on Sunday, Nov. 8 at the Stevens Center in Winston Salem.

They are members of the Davie High Madrigal Singers under the direction of Elaine Snow.
