William “Frank” Orrell Sr.

William “Frank” Orrell Sr., 80, of Winston-Salem, died Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015 at his home.
Mr. Orrell was born in Davie County on Aug. 21, 1935 to Benjamin and Flora Howard Orrell. He graduated from Griffith High School in 1953 and retired, after 34 years of service, from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. in 1989. He was a member of Heritage Hills Baptist Church.
Survivors: his wife of 61 years, Mary Spainhour Orrell; 2 sons, William F. Orrell Jr. (wife Pam) of Clemmons, and S. Spencer Orrell (wife Sandra) of High Point; a daughter, Donna O. Coggins (husband Perry) of Winston-Salem; 7 grandchildren, Charles Coggins (wife Kelly), Clinton Coggins (wife Gina), Emily Quance (husband Jonathan), MaryAnn Orrell, William Orrell III, Grace Orrell, and Miles Orrell; 7 great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Rachel and Natalie Quance, Brady, Chase and Kynsleigh Coggins, and Savannah Coggins.
A celebration of Mr. Orrell’s life will be held Wednesday, Sept. 30 at 11 a.m. at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Jennings O’Neil officiating. Burial followed at Parklawn Memorial Park. The family received friends Tuesday, Sept. 29 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
