Mrs. Elizabeth Pirro King, 80, of North Main Street, Mocksville, died Monday, Aug. 3, 2015.

Mrs. King was born Aug. 8, 1934 in New York, N.Y., to the late Anthony and Carmela Pirro. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses where she enjoyed volunteering in her ministry.  Mrs. King also enjoyed gardening and her granddoggies.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Pirro; and a brother, Vincent Pirro.

Survivors: a daughter, Laura Martin (Robert) of Mocksville; 2 sisters, Marie Helhoski and Caroline Sweeney, both of New York; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted at 4:30 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 9 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Mocksville.
