Mr. Bobby Joe Jenkins, 71, of Advance died Friday, July 24, 2015.

He was born Aug. 5, 1943 in Norfolk, Va. to Ervin Dolphus Jenkins and Lucy Staley Jenkins. Mr. Jenkins was an a beekeeper.

Survivors: his wife, Betty Jenkins of the home; 2 sons, Bobby and Tony of Pennsylvania; a stepson, Greg of Advance; his mother, Lucy Jenkins, sister, Barbara Pardue and brother, Jerry Jenkins, all of King; and many friends.

A graveside service was conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, July 27 at Westlawn Gardens of Memory by Pastor Ed Sears.
