Elizabeth Ann ‘Libby’ Boger Smith

Mrs. Elizabeth “Libby” Ann Boger Smith, 60, of Union Grove, died Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at her home.

She was born Sept. 20, 1954 in Iredell County to Edith Elizabeth Henderson Boger and the late William Glenn Boger. Mrs. Smith was a member of Union Grove United Methodist Church. She had served as president of the N.C. Dermatology of Nursing and had served on the National Dermatology of Nursing board.

Survivors: her husband of 33 years, Randy Smith of the home; a daughter, Renee Galliher (Michael) of Mocksville; 3 grandchildren, Amanda Harris (Brent), Morgan Galliher and Michael Galliher Jr., all of Mocksville; a sister, Katie Bowie (Wendell) of Statesville; a brother, Bill Boger (Tammy) of Granite Quarry; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, “Angus” and “Jack.”

A funeral service was conducted at 2 p.m., Friday, July 17 at Union Grove United Methodist Church with the Revs. S.  Neill Shaw and Fred Carlton officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. The family received friends Thursday, July 16 at Eaton Funeral Home in Mocksville.
