The Davie County Chamber of Commerce has teamed with the DCCC Small Business Center to offer Davie County businesses the opportunity to invest in themselves and their businesses with two networking opportunities.
On Tuesday, May 13, business men and women are invited to a networking workshop from 3-4 p.m. titled “Promoting Your Competitive Advantage” presented by Deb Watson, an expert in marketing and public relations. Following the workshop, a Business After Hours networking event will be held from 4-6 p.m. Both events are free and will be at Broadway’s Best Theatre Company of NC, 103 Beechtree Place in Mocksville (off exit 174 of I-40).
“Business After Hours are informal networking meetings that allow members and prospective members the opportunity to meet and develop business relationships,” said Carolyn McManamy, chamber president. “This particular event will afford workshop attendees the ability to practice what they just learned and experience more meaningful networking interactions.
“We are very pleased with how these networking events have come together. May is Small Business Month and we are delighted to be co -hosting events with DCCC Small Business Center to help our business community grow and thrive.”
Business After Hours and training workshops are a few of the several networking opportunities organized by the chamber throughout the year. To register for these events or for more information on joining the chamber, contact chamber@daviecounty.com, 751-3304.
