County Eyes Land For Industry

County commissioners took no action last month on a request for the purchase of land for the location of an industry.
Terry Bralley, president of the Davie County Economic Development Commissioner, met behind closed doors with the commissioners for more than 30 minutes.
Any action would have to be made in open session.
Bralley has said in other open meetings that Davie County is quickly running out of buildings for new industry. Most companies want a building already erected and ready to move into, he said …
