Stroud-Llewellyn Couple Married

Kelly Renee Stroud and Clayton Garrett Llewellyn were married on Sept. 15 at 5 p.m. at Hardison United Methodist Church in Mocksville with the Rev. Dennis Marshall officiating.
The reception was hosted by the bride’s parents at the Millennium Center in Winston-Salem following the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Dick and Sybil Stroud of Mocksville. She is the granddaughter of Doris Lakey of Mocksville, the late Wayne Lakey, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Stroud, all of Mocksville. She is a graduate of Davie High School and Lenoir-Rhyne University. She is employed by Novant Health in corporate finance. She is completing a master’s of business administration degree through Gardner-Webb University.
The groom is the son of Clayton and Linda Llewellyn of Mooresville. He is the grandson of Nancy Ferguson and the late William Brashear of Texas, and Sally Llewellyn of Alabama and the late Gordon Llewellyn of Texas. He is a graduate of Mooresville Senior High School. He served four years in the United States Marine Corps and completed two deployments to Iraq. He is employed with the Charlotte Fire Department. He is completing his bachelor’s degree in homeland security and emergency management through Ashford University.
