Seaford-Batchelder Couple Married

Kara Katherine Seaford of Advance and Nathan John Batchelder of Aurora, Colo. were united in marriage at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 30 at St. Pius the Tenth Catholic Church in Greensboro. The Rev. Monsignor Anthony J. Marcaccio officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Kim and Paula Seaford of Advance. Her maternal grandmother is Polly Lagle of Clemmons. Her maternal grandfather is Paul Lagle of Mocksville. Her paternal grandparents are Sarah Seaford of Advance and the late Lee Seaford. She is a 2006 graduate of Davie High School and graduated from UNC-Greensboro in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in art education.
The groom is the son of Ted and Lynne Batchelder of Aurora. His maternal grandparents are Mary Ellen Merwald of Omaha, Neb. and the late Francis Merwald. His paternal grandparents are Ken Batchelder of Omaha and the late Joyce Batchelder. He is a 2006 graduate of Regis Jesuit High School in Aurora and graduated from UNC-Greensboro in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He is a student at the Wingate University School of Pharmacy.
The bride was escorted by her father. The matron of honor was the bride’s sister, Anna Coe. The bridesmaids were Wendy Fulk, Bethany Foster and Marcie Dickmann. The honorary bridesmaids were Amanda Myers, Jennifer Batchelder and Nicole Cecil.
The best man was Brandon Wheeler. The groomsmen were Tyler Cecil, Wes Herms and Andy Baumgartner. The ushers were Aaron Coe, Bradley Coe and Josh Jansen.
