Woodburn-Gales Couple Wed At Salisbury’s First Baptist Church

Tara Marie Woodburn and Seth Graham Gales of Salisbury were united in marriage at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, May 19 at First Baptist Church of Salisbury. The Rev. Dr. Kenneth Lance officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mark and Cheryl Woodburn of Salisbury, and the granddaughter of Nellie McNally and the late James McNally Jr., and Ruth Woodburn and the late Ralph A. Woodburn, all of Salisbury. She is a 1997 graduate of North Rowan High School and earned a degree in dental assisting from Rowan Cabarrus Community College in 1999. She is employed with  Dr. Jeffery Billings, DDS, in Cooleemee.
The groom is the son of Mike and Polly Barnhardt of Mocksville and Bill and Diane Gales of Blounts Creek, and the grandson of Sandy and Pert Grantham of Eutawville, S.C. and the late William Richard Gales Sr. and Elizabeth Gales. He is a 2002 graduate of Davie High School and is employed by Allied Bearing in Statesville.
Escorted by her father, the bride chose Angie Campbell of Mocksville as her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Lauren Hood of Mt. Ulla, Shannon Carter and Hope Riley, both of Salisbury, and Amanda Woodburn of Raleigh.
The groom’s father, Bill Gales, was best man. Groomsmen were Clinton McDaniel and John Glasscock, both of Mocksville, Kevin Mabe of Advance and Nathan Woodburn of Raleigh.
