Two new farmer’s markets are opening in Davie County – one in Advance and one in Mocksville.
The Advance market at NC 801 and Peachtree Lane (behind Bojangles) will be open on Fridays from 4-8 p.m. beginning May 4. There is a $20 annual fee for producers, and a $5 a day fee to sell for members ($10 non-members). It is open to producers within a 50-mile radius.
The Mocksville market will be open on Tuesdays from 2-6 p.m. starting May 1 on Salisbury Street at Southern States.  There is no charge, and it is open to Davie County producers only.
