COOLEEMEE – Cathy M. DeCess was appointed to the town’s ABC Board last week, replacing Grimes Parker.
Commissioner Jean Snead made the motion to appoint DeCess.
Commissioner Chris Branham said that he supported Parker continuing to serve on the board.  “The ABC Board has done great things in the past year and I’m not in favor of appointing someone other than Grimes,” Branham said.
DeCess was appointed with two in favor and one opposed. Commissioner Chuck Taylor was not present …
