Hamm-Harris Couple Wed At The Beach

The marriage of Amber Camille Hamm, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Hamm of Carolina Beach to Chad Timothy Harris, son of the Rev. and Mrs. Wayne Harris of Wilmington, was celebrated on June 18 in an outdoor ceremony overlooking the beach at the Surf Club at Wrightsville Beach. The father of the groom officiated.  
Molly Heinz performed music for the ceremony on the violin.
The bride, escorted by her father, is the granddaughter of  Bettie  Smith of Mocksville, and the late Wilbert Potts, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hamm of Winston-Salem.
The groom is the grandson of Horace Harris, and the late David Lee Morgan, the late Mary Morgan Pattison, and the late  Barbara Harris DeLong..
Ryan McInnis was the best man, and serving as groomsmen were Greg Finch, Michael Friedberg, Joey Hamm, James Tew, Allen Thornton, Thomas Woodrum, and Adam Zazzali.
A reading of “The Art of Marriage” was performed by Aaron Daye, and Angela Mathis.
Angie Tew served as the matron of honor, and Julie Crissman served as maid of honor.  Serving as bridesmaids were Katherine Cornatzer, Kippy Ficken, Christine Friedberg, Jamie Hamm, Jenny Hamm, Tara Young, and “special bridesmaid”  Hannah Matson Tew, the 5-month-old niece of the bride.
Following the ceremony, an evening reception was held inside the Surf Club at Wrightsville Beach. Guests were served from a five-tier navy, green, and white cake laced with …
