Kowalski-Raby Couple Married In Jamaica

Savannah Lin Kowalski of Mocksville and Nicholas Jay Raby of Advance were united in marriage July 9 at 11 a.m. on the shoreline of the Caribbean Ocean in Negril, Jamaica, WI, in front of immediate family. The Rev. Lloyd A. Francis of Jamaica officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Len and Tammy Kowalski of Mocksville. Her maternal grandparents are Linda Tissue of Ravenna, Ohio and Russell Tissue of Uniontown, Pa. Her paternal grandparents are Karen Egbert of Phoenix, Ariz. and the late Kenneth Kowalski. She is a 2004 graduate of Davie High School and attends Forsyth Technical Community College in pursuit of a business degree. She is a paralegal at Horton, Henry, and Halvorsen, PLLC in Winston-Salem.
The groom is the son of Mack and Susan Rothrock of Advance and Tony Raby of Salisbury. His maternal grandparents are Mary Miller of Advance and the late Henry Miller. His paternal grandparents are Leona Raby of Ferguson and the late Jay Raby. He is a 2003 graduate of Davie High School; and graduated from North Carolina State University in 2007 with a degree in agronomy with a concentration in turfgrass management and agricultural business management.
