Twins Are Huge Basketball Recruits

The recruiting music for the Davie twins is blaring these days, and the decibel levels will only rise over the coming years.
Caleb and Cody Martin are huge basketball recruits. Wake Forest has already offered scholarships to the rising sophomores at Davie. Tennessee, Providence, Oregon State, Clemson, Virginia, Xavier, Charlotte, N.C. State, North Carolina and Kansas have the twins on their watch lists.
This is big-time stuff. The latest school to jump on board was Kansas, which sent letters to Davie coach Mike Absher last week.
“I checked my mail (July 28), and there were letters from Kansas,” Absher said. “If Kansas sends something, there’s no reason everybody else in the country wouldn’t.”
The twins, who are both around 6-6 and 185 pounds, have even received handwritten letters.
“I received a handwritten letter from the head coach at Tennessee (Cuonzo Martin),” Absher said. “He talked about their height and length and that he could see them fitting in at that level. You don’t get many handwritten letters from head coaches …
