United Way of Davie County will be relocating its offices June 1 to 121 Country Lane, Mocksville.

The search for the optimal new space has been under way for almost five years and was considered by the office relocation committee. The office space selected offers a number of benefits that will make the agency’s operations more efficient and conducive to business.

Melinda Beauchamp, chief executive officer, said: “What appealed to us the most about the new space is its accessibility to the community. The space will allow us to fulfill our role as a convener within the community and give us room to grow as the county’s needs evolve.”

Additional considerations and benefits of the move include enhanced visibility, technology and safety. Agency partners will have an open invitation to make use of the facilities. A community-invited open house will be held once the move is complete.

“United Way of Davie County is excited to be able to open our doors to the community in a way that hasn’t been possible before. We welcome members of the community to visit the new space whenever they wish. We are here to serve as a community resource,” says Chad Brown, CEO, Davie Medical Center and president of the board of directors for United Way.
