The annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. celebration sponsored by the Davie NAACP will be held on Monday, Jan. 16 at Erwin Temple CME Church with the Rev. Ervin Hannah as the speaker.

The program will begin at 2 p.m.

A parade of cars will assemble in the parking lot of Harvest United Church of Davie in Cooleemee (formerly Refuge Community Church) at 1:30 p.m. and proceed to Erwin Temple at 1:45 p.m.
