Timothy Howard Westbrooks, 70, of Advance, died Tuesday, April 13, 2022, at his home.

He was born Jan. 22, 1952, in Person County. Timothy was a member of Bixby Presbyterian Church. He worked for 30 years with Danville City Fire Department. Timothy served on Fork Fire Department and was currently the assistant shief at Cornatzer-Dulin Fire Department.

He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Frank Westbrooks, and his mother, Ella Conner Westbrooks.

Survivors: wife, Patricia Kay Edney Westbrook of home; children, Stephanie M. Westbrook of home, Scott Timothy Westbrooks of Virginia, and Shannon Westbrooks of Kentucky; sisters, Elaine Barker of Mebane, and Donna Williamson of Burlington; 10 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 19 at Lambert Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Pete Peterson officiating. Interment will follow in Bixby Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
