Mrs. Myrtle Marie Haire Vick, 82, of Dooley Road, Cleveland, NC, died Friday, Feb. 11, 2022 at Davie Medical Center in Advance.
She was born on March 3, 1939 in Rowan County to the late Albert and Zeda Hodge Haire Gunter.
Mrs. Vick was a loving mother and grandmother and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She was loved by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Billy Bert Vick; and a brother, Wade Haire.
Survivors: 2 children, Denise Cockerham of East Bend and Steve Vick (Angela) of Mocksville; 3 grandchildren, Meagan Cockerham (Adam Stringfield), Blake Cockerham and Landon Vick; a sister, Loretta Bolick of Florida; and special friend, Jansen Bailey.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 15 at Rose Cemetery in Mocksville with Rev. Phillip Brande and Rev. Seth Parnell officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, at Eaton Funeral Home.
