Jose Luis Ramirez, 53, of Mocksville, passed away on Oct. 24, 2021 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC.
Jose was born on Sept. 2, 1968 in municipality of Atoyac de Alvarez, Guerrero, Mexico. He was the son of Ramon Ramirez and Maria Leonarda Cisneros. In 1992, Jose united in marriage with Gladys Flores. With their union, they had four children.
Jose leaves behind to cherish his memory: his parents, Ramon Ramirez and Maria Leonarda Cisneros; his loving wife, Gladys Flores; a son, Josiah Jose Ramirez; 3 daughters, Denise Linette Ramirez, Karina Ramirez, and Evelyn Ramirez-Flores; 2 brothers, Joaquin and Armando Ramirez; 4 sisters, Emma Salgado, Maria Luisa Ramirez, Hilda Ramirez, and Irma Ramirez; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends, who will all miss him dearly.
A private visitation for Jose was held on Saturday, Oct. 30, 2021 from 2-3 p.m. at Davie Funeral Service of Mocksville. Following visitation at 3, a funeral service took place, also at Davie Funeral Service of Mocksville. Pastor Jose Luis Fuentes officiated. Jose was laid to rest at Rose Cemetery.
