Mr. Robert Randell “Randy” McGee, 61, of Ridge Road, Mocksville, died on Friday, Sept. 10, 2021 at his home.

He was born on Sept/ 24, 1959 to the late Harmon Callis and Juanita Cline McGee.

He was born in Winston-Salem and graduated from Davie High School and earned a bachelor’s degree at Berkley College of Music in Boston, Mass. He was an accomplished jazz musician and trumpet player and loved to perform. He takes with him his passion and love of music. His mentors included Miles Davis, Maynard Ferguson, and Chris Botti. He was a kind and gentle soul and will be missed by his loving sister Linda and brother-in-law Alex, his brother Don and sister-in-law Wanda, and his nephew Bradley.

Services and burial will be private.
