Sandra Faye Troutt Smith, 75, of Advance died on Friday, Sept. 3, 2021 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

She was born March 2, 1946 in Forsyth County to the late Paul Alfred and Margaret Butner Troutt. She was also preceded in death by: a brother, Michael Troutt; and her husband, Earnest Alfred Smith Sr.

Survivors: a sister, Kathy Foster (Keith); a brother, Steve Troutt; 2 sons, Earnest A. Smith Jr. (Sheila) and Todd Smith (Jaimie); 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
