The Sheffield-Calahaln VFD meetings are held each Monday night at the station at 7.  If interested in becoming a firefighter or want to know more about the department, Chief Gary Allen and other members welcome you any Monday night to answer your questions.

There will be a memorial service at the fire department on Sunday, Sept. 19 at 3 p.m. We look forward to sharing this special day with the community and the families of firefighters remembered on this day and always.

New Union UMC will be serving hotdogs chips and drinks from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. in the church parking lot on Saturday, Aug. 28. The church is at Sheffield and County Line roads.  Donations will be accepted.  Hope you can join us for a good time of fellowship and great food.

New Union UMC’s contemporary worship service is held each Sunday morning is at 9, Sunday School at 10:15 and traditional worship at 11.  You can also view the worship services on the New Union UMC Facebook page.

Women’s Bible Study “The Letter to the Romans” by Ben Witherington is held each Saturday morning at 10 at Liberty Wesleyan Church. Sunday School is each Sunday at 10 a.m. followed by the Worship service at 11. This Sunday after worship  there will be an ice cream social    

Sunday School is held each Sunday at Ijames Baptist Church at 9:30 a.m. and the worship service at 10:30. All services and important weekly information will continue to be seen on the Ijames Church Friends Facebook page.
