Sheffield-Calahaln: New Union, Liberty Bible school starts Monday

Sheffield-Calahaln VFD meetings are held each Monday night at the station at 7.  If interested in becoming a firefighter or want to know more about the department, Chief Gary Allen and other members welcome you any Monday night to answer questions.

New Union UMC’s contemporary worship service is held each Sunday morning is at 9 a.m., Sunday School at 10:15 and traditional worship at 11. The services are also on the New Union UMC Facebook page. Vacation Bible School with Liberty Wesleyan sis July 26-28 from 6-8 p.m .at Liberty.  The theme is “Shipwrecked” about helping kids understand that Jesus is able to rescue them.  Whether it be from loneliness, worry, sin, struggle or powerlessness, Jesus is able to rescue us from many different trials. It is open to kids of all ages.

Women’s Bible Study “The Letter to the Romans” by Ben Witherington is held each Saturday morning at 10 at Liberty Wesleyan.  Sunday School is held each Sunday at 10 a.m. followed by the Worship service at 11.

Sunday School will be held at 9 a.m. each Sunday at Ijames Baptist and worship services are at 10.  Pastor Jackson welcomes everyone.
