Muriel Boyd Studevent, 70, died on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

She was born May 26, 1951 in Davie County to Willie Richard Studevent Sr. and Margaret Jeffries Studevent. She was a faithful member of Piney Grove AME Zion Church in Harmony where she served in the missionary department, sang with the senior choir and helped in any other capacity that she could.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Margaret Neely.

Survivors: her son, Bruce (Cassandra) Isaac Jr.; 2 daughters, Melaine (Terry) Isaac-Mason and Marnie Isaac; a sister, Marcella Lewis; a brother, Willie R. Studevent II; 7 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The celebration of life service was Tuesday, June 8  at noon at Roberts Chapel, Mocksville. Burial followed at Piney Grove AME Zion Church Cemetery.  Public viewing was Monday from 1-6 p.m. at Roberts Chapel.
