Mr. Robert Lee McCarn, 79, died on Monday, March 15, 2021.

He was born in Davidson County on Sept. 21, 1941 to the late George and Clara Boswell McCarn. He was also preceded in death by: 3 brothers, George, Jim and Ben McCarn; and 2 sisters, Rose Hitt and Betty Edwards.

Survivors: his wife, Stella McCarn; daughter, Tara McCarn; sister-in-law, Reba McCarn; and several nieces and nephews.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

A graveside service was held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 19 at Green Meadows Baptist Church in Mocksville with Pastor Josh Greene officiating. Family received friends following the service.

Memorials: Green Meadows Baptist Building Fund, Advance VFW and District II Memorial Honor Guard.
