On Dec. 19 at 10 a.m. at Legion Memorial Park off NC 801 in Cooleemee, the Cooleemee-Mocksville VFW Post 1119 will have its second annual Wreaths for Veterans.

Families of all veterans buried at the cemetery are encouraged to attend to lay a wreath on their loved one’s grave. Members of the public are also invited to come out to help lay the wreaths.

Breakfast biscuits and coffee will be served at the post home across the street prior to the event. Please practice social distancing and wear a mask.
