A 10th person from Davie County has died after contracting COVID-19.

Numbers posted Monday by the Davie County Health Department indicate that 615 Davie residents have contracted the virus. Of those, 556 have recovered, 49 cases are active and 10 have died.

A total of 65 people age 65 and older have contracted the virus, 131 of those age 50-64, 237 of those age 35-49, 80 of those age 18-24 and 102 of those age 17 and younger.
