Donnie Kaye Waller, 76, of Mocksville, died on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at his home.

  He was born Dec. 10, 1943 to the late Melvin Waller and Edith M. Waller. He worked at Donnie Waller Construction for more than 40 years. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, hunting and traveling.

He was also preceded in death by brother, J.C. Waller, and a grandson, Aubrey Draughn.

Survivors: his wife, Nellie Waller; son, Lee Waller and wife Delores of Mocksville; daughter, Renee Kitts of Mocksville; 4 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

     There will be a memorial service at noon on Aug. 4 at Church of God of Prophecy in Mocksville, with a graveside service at the Salisbury National Cemetery beginning at 2 p.m. with full military honors.
