Sally Ann Williams, 73, of Advance, died on Oct. 19, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center.

She was born Sept. 16, 1946 in Columbiana County, Ohio, a daughter to the late Thomas A. Shaffer and Flora M. Ross Shaffer. She graduated from Wellsville High School with the class of 1964.

She was also preceded in death by: her son, Duane Williams; and her sister, Pattie Jo Shaw McCoy.

Survivors: her daughter, Teresa Grose (James) of Yadkinville; and her brother, Thomas L. Shaffer of Wellsville.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 23 from 1-3 p.m. at the Davie Funeral Service Chapel in Mocksville. A funeral service will follow at 3 p.m., with Marvin Blackburn officiating. Burial will follow at the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Mocksville.
