The following cases were disposed of during the August 22 session of Davie District Court. Presiding: Judge Jimmy L. Myers. Prosecuting: Kaitlyn Jones and Pearce Dougan, assistant DAs.

• Nina Brooks, simple affray, disorderly conduct – school, sentenced to 30 days, suspended 12 months, 20 hours community service, cost.
• Chelsea M. Burchette, simple assault, simple possession of schedule III controlled substance, sentenced to time served, cost, $225 attorney fee; possession of marijuana up to one-half ounce, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, dismissed per plea.
• Steven Ray Carter, unsafe movement, dismissed, civil matter.
• Bridget L. Cerecke, DWI, sentenced to 60 days, suspended 18 months, 24 hours community service, credit for substance abuse assessment/follow treatment, surrender driver’s license, not operate motor vehicle until licensed by DMV, $100, cost, $600 lab fee.
• Stephen Kerry Cowan, possession of marijuana up to one-half ounce, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, speeding 84 in a 70, dismissed per plea; driving after consuming alcohol under age 21, complete ADETS, surrender driver’s license, not operate motor vehicle until licensed by DMV, limited driving privilege/$100 fee, cost.
• Mary Brianna Dillard, possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, dismissed in the interest of justice.
• Stephanie Jane Gordon, possession of marijuana up to one-half ounce, possession of drug paraphernalia, dismissed, complied with informal deferred prosecution; speeding 64 in a 55, $15, cost.
• Jacob Alan Hogan, misdemeanor probation violation, probation continued; misdemeanor larceny, dismissed at request of prosecuting witness.
• Joey Martin Ijames, assault with a deadly weapon, dismissed, prosecuting witness failed to appear, state’s motion to continue denied.
• Tyana Tyakia Jones, assault on a school employee/volunteer, dismissed, deferred prosecution completed.
• George Jerome Konat, canceled/revoked/suspended certificate/tag, operating vehicle with no insurance, dismissed per plea; driving while license revoked DWI revocation, sentenced to time served, cost, $335 attorney fee.
• Cade Thompson Leslie, DWI, sentenced to 60 days, suspended 18 months, credit for 24 hours community service, credit for substance abuse assessment/follow treatment, surrender driver’s license, not operate motor vehicle until licensed by DMV, $100, cost; driving after consuming under age 21, reckless driving to endanger, failure to comply with license restrictions, unsealed wine/liquor in passenger area, possession of a malt beverage/unfortified wine by person not 19/20, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, dismissed per plea.
• Bryan Mitchell Lewis, possession of marijuana up to one-half ounce, $25, cost.
• Maileen C. Luciano, misdemeanor probation violation out of county, probation terminated, $280 attorney fee.
• Kevin Lawrence Mabe, assault on a female, dismissed, complied with informal deferred prosecution.
• Zachary Mallette, extradition/fugitive other state, governor’s warrant served, defendant has 30 days for Texas to come get him or he will be released.
• Evan Raymond Mang, three counts breaking or entering, dismissed, complied with deferred prosecution.
• Jamey Potts, two counts probation violation, complete CBI and electronic monitoring, probation continued, $445 attorney fee.
• Jacob Owen Roberts, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, dismissed, deferred prosecution completed.
• Ramirez Rodriguez, taking/possessing undersized white bass, dismissed, complied with informal deferred prosecution.
• Ashley Orr Self, second degree trespass, dismissed, mediated.
• Donald Lee Self, misdemeanor stalking, dismissed, mediated.
• Waverly Dean Shore, second degree trespass, dismissed, prosecuting witness failed to appear, state’s motion to continue denied.
• Justice T. Steele, simple affray, dismissed in the interest of justice.
• Malihah Streater, simple affray, dismissed, mediated.
• Zachary D. Summers, misdemeanor probation violation, probation terminated unsuccessfully; two counts possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of heroin, simple possession of a schedule VI controlled substance, dismissed per plea in Superior Court.
• Terrance J. Surratt, possession of marijuana up to one-half ounce, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, dismissed per plea; unlawfully passing emergency/public service vehicle, prayer for judgment continued, cost, $20 install fee.
