The annual Center Fair – Davie’s only old-time agricultural type fair – will be held this weekend at the community just west of Mocksville on US 64.

Proceeds benefit the local community association and fire department, and pork barbecue will be sold all day on Friday and Saturday. Vendors will also be set up.

Any Davie resident can enter submissions in a wide variety of categories; those submissions will be accepted Friday evening and early Saturday.

After judging, the entries of vegetables and flowers, pies and cakes, canning and sewing and more will be on display for the public.
