Ayla Gray Little was born Aug. 29, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem to Jacob Gray and Sydney Darnell Little.

She brought much joy to her family and many others in her 3 hours and 53 minutes of life.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by: grandparents, Steve and Sherri Darnell and Greg and Beth Little; great-grandparents, Loenna Henderson, Polly Darnell, and Jerry and Helen Aneskewich; aunts Bethany Miller, Moriah Little and Summer Darnell; uncles Caleb, Seth, and Micah Little and Grant Miller; cousins Barrett and Colt Miller; and other extended family members.

During her short life, Ayla was the evidence of thousands of answered prayers and enabled a generous donation to anencephaly research.

A celebration of life service was held Monday, Sept. 2 at Farmington Community Cemetery.
