Mr. Bradley James Wiedel, 52, of Winston-Salem, died Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center.

He was born Oc. 9, 1966, in Harlan County, Neb. Mr. Wiedel was a veteran of the U.S. Marines. He enjoyed building and flying remote control model airplanes.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Albert Wiedel.

Survivors: his mother, Rita Marlene Uri Wiedel of Nebraska; a son, Collin Wiedel, a stepson, Nicholas Helenek, a stepgranddaughter, Cordelia Helenek, all of Mocksville; 3 brothers, Fr. Tom Wiedel, Dan Wiedel (Krista) and Bill Wiedel (Denise), all of Nebraska; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m., Tuesday, April 23 at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons. A memorial Mass will be conducted at a later date at St. Mary Catholic Church in Orleans, Neb.
