Mr. Loyd Wade Beauchamp, 86 of Advance, died on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at his home.
He was born Feb. 27, 1933 in Davie County to the late Ollie Loyd Beauchamp and Lillian Hanes Beauchamp. Mr. Beauchamp served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was the owner of United Auto Center in King for more than 30 years.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Mildred Riley Beauchamp.
Surviving: a daughter, Pamm Couch (Terry) of Advance; 3 sons, Ronnie Beauchamp, Kim Beauchamp (Kim) and Shayne Beauchamp (Jennifer); 5 grandchildren, Katie, Devin, Sarah, Elisabeth and Korrie; and a brother, Donald Beauchamp (Wanda) of Clemmons.
A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 8 at Elbaville United Methodist Church with Pastor David Smith officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. The family receive friends Thursday evening at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel.
