Lucas Sebastian Alcacio, 3, of Mocksville, died on Tuesday July 17, 2018.

He was born in Forsyth County on Jan. 9, 2015, with a congenital heart defect called Truncus Arteriosus. His loving parents, Jamie Taylor andJuan Alcacio, and beloved big brother, Giovanni “Gio” Alcacio, were blessed by his courageous spirt and sweet smile.

Also surviving: his grandmother, Ramona Alcacio; special grandparents, Ruperto and Evella Arredondo, Kathleen “Nana” O’Reilly, “Mama Tula;” treasured caregivers Cara “Caca,” Jennifer, Rebecca, Cydney, Diann; a special kitty, Miklo; along with countless other friends and family who were blessed to know him.

He was preceded in death by grandparents Pedro Caranza, Peggy Perez and James Taylor.

Visitation was from 2-3 p.m. Saturday, July 21 at Green Meadows Baptist Church, 1646 NC 801 N., Mocksville. A celebration of life service followed at 3 p.m. officiated by family friend, the Rev. Joel Bartz and assisted by the Rev. James Buchanan.
