Mr. Jamie Lee Lanier, 42, of Yadkinville, died Saturday, April 14, 2018.

He was born Aug. 25, 1975 in Forsyth County to Gurney Dale and Donna Lynn Grubbs Lanier. He was a fabulous cook and loved his family.

Survivors: his wife, Amanda Lee Hooker Lanier, and a daughter, Sophie Grace Lanier, both of the home; his parents and a brother, Andrew Shane Lanier, all of Mocksville; a special nephew, Brayden Lanier; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and many friends.

A memorial service will be conducted at 4 p.m., Thursday, April 19 at Huntsville Baptist Church, with the Rev. Brian Chilton officiating. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall following the service.
